Risky Behaviour
This session covers a variety of 'risky behaviours' including, but not limited to, adolescent self-harm. It includes understanding what is typical teenage behaviour and when to be concerned, as well as the difference between 'unusual' behaviour and 'risky' behaviour. It covers risky behaviours at different ages and examples of what risky behaviour might mean (eg ADHD, hearing voices, grief, ASD etc.). It considers drivers for risky behaviour, advice on dealing with risky behaviour, different types of self-harm, and early warning signs of self-harm. Finally, it suggests how to get help and what can practically be done to keep children safe.

This session seeks to answer parents' / carers' questions about the benefits and risks of their child's use of the internet and how to discuss this with their child. It also suggests how to monitor appropriately and deal with "internet crises", such as when their child does something harmful.
